Thierry Duhamel, Project Manager, joined Alpine in September 2019. Thierry manages geophysical and geotechnical projects from inception to conclusion including reporting, crewing, operations, client relations and data management.

Thierry served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 21 years where he qualified as a surveyor and Geomatics technician. After his service, he continued his education with an advanced degree at the Center of Geographic Sciences (COGS) in Marine Geomatics. Prior to joining Alpine, Thierry has held positions at Terrasond, AXYS Technologies, DOF Subsea and C&C Technologies. 

In his spare time Thierry enjoys reading on the beach and cooking.  He enjoys swimming as a workout whenever possible. 

Thierry tries to live by the mantra of “don’t stress over things you cannot control”.  Life is too short for this.

It is very enjoyable and rewarding when you can bring a project to a conclusion within the parameters set by the clients.  When you hear the clients praise your crew is also very rewarding.
